A trip down Crwys Road in Cathays, Cardiff, visiting some of the eateries.
Greggs
I needed to grab a bit of sustenance on the hoof today and what better than a Greggs Vegan Sausage Roll. Greggs has been at this location since at least 2008.
Mowgli’s
Mowgli’s Indian Restaurant has been in Crwys Road from around 2010. Tonight we shared an onion bharji to start and then had a tarka dal, naan bread, chana masala, and a biryani. All very fine.

Kerala Cafe
Kerala Café is a new restaurant for Crwys Road recently opened up in the premises formerly occupied by the Svago/Lorenza Italian restaurants. We had a very tasty meal made up of a masala dosa, kadala curry, veg kuruma curry and rice with friendly service too.

Teacups and Cupcakes
There’s been a cupcake shop here since around 2012. A perfect opportunity to visit today after a lovely guided tour around the nearby cemetery by Friends of Cathays Cemetery. A delicious ‘Divine’ cupcake and large latte revived my energy.
